R.I. TABLE TENNIS
With the help of a new partnership with TableTennisRocks.com we have ambitious tournament plans for 2008 including 8 sanctioned events with TableTennisRocks, our RI Open in April, and the RI Senior Games later in the year. That is 10 events this year (including NINE USATT SANTIONED TOURNAMENTS).

*Players are welcome on any day. However, if you are new to the sport, we recommend your first visit be on a Thursday or Saturday.

FORMAT: Unrated division will be double-elimination format. All other events are round robin style; Players will be placed into groups of about 4-5 people, with the top 1 or 2 advancing to single elimination competition. All matches are best three out of five games to 11 points. Unrated is a non-USATT event; results will not be submitted for ratings.
ELIGIBILITY: To play in a sanctioned event you must have a USATT membership, or purchase an adult-one time only, player pass. This does not apply to the unrated event. The Adult one-time Pass costs $10.00. Adult memberships cost $40 per year, or $100 for three years. Junior memberships (Under 18 on 1/26/07) are $20 per year. A family membership is $60 per year.
UNRATED PLAYERS: If you have not played in a "sanctioned" USATT tournament, you are "Unrated".
In rated events you will not be eligible for an award, except for the unrated, school/college and open events.
CHECK-IN: You must be present and sign in 30 minutes before the starting time of your first event. Bring your USATT membership card, or a valid membership receipt.
ENTERING: Mail the completed bottom of this page along with a check for the appropriate fees to: RITTA , P.O. BOX 41, 30 RAILROAD ST., MANVILLE, RI 02838. DIRECTIONS:
From Southern Rhode Island / Connecticut take I-95 North to I-295 North. Take exit # 9B onto Rte. 146 North. Take the exit for Rte. 99 North. Then take first exit to Sayles Hill Road. At the bottom of the exit, turn right onto Sayles Hill Road and travel a 1/2 mile. Just past the flashing yellow light, take a sharp left onto Division Street. Go straight down the hill and turn right onto Railroad Street. The Club is 1/8 mile down on the right above the Manville Post Office. Enter the door facing Railroad Street.
From Providence take I-95 to exit 23 onto Rte. 146. Stay right at the I-295 Interchange and follow signs to Rte. #99 North. Follow above directions.
From Boston : take I-95 South to I-295 South to exit #10- Rte. 122 North to Rte. 120- turn left on Rte. 120 @ Mobil/Exxon gas to traffic light @ bottom of hill-turn right- RITTA is located in 2nd building on left over Post Office.
From Worcester: Rte. 146 South to Sayles Hill Road (at traffic light across from Sunoco station). Turn left onto Sayles Hill Rd. & follow above directions to the club.
